Show of Hands Gallery in Denver, Colorado, is delighted to introduce you to The Moore Family Folk Art. Alan Moore has used found objects, salvaged material, and recycled items to create his art since he first became interested in making art as a child. After being introduced to primitive folk art in a high school art class, Alan has been developing his own unique and whimsical style of folk art.
Bicycles & Alligators
Alan’s custom upcycled art depicts bright colored creatures of the sea, as well as kaleidoscopic guitars and bicycles, and more. His playful assemblages using re-purposed items gives viewers a glimpse into times past, while invoking a feeling of carefree innocence. You can see Alan’s distinctive wall art in Denver at Show of Hands Gallery or join us for an event featuring Alan Moore, like our monthly Adult Upcycled Art Workshop.
